Our Complete Upgrade Kits have all the parts needed for you to upgrade the electronics in your guitar.  We take great pride in using the best components that work and sound better than the stock electronics often found in your guitar.  We start by sorting through the already great CTS "CG"  pots to create matched sets to give you an even response when rolling down your volume and tone controls, you can also choose  CTS “CGS” SupraPots in the volume position.  The kit includes Jupiter Yellow Vintage Tone Capacitors which are designed as a replacement for the Blue Moulded and Yellow Astron capacitors used in early Blackface and 60’s Fender amps.  These are way over spec for a guitar tone control but offer a clear smooth control and most importantly they sound great!!

This is an upgrade kit for USA Gibson Les Paul's.  For guitars with metric sized pots you may need to enlarge the holes for the higher quality US spec electronics to fit and also you may need US Spec knobs.

What is Balanced Tone:

This kit as standard has 0.02uf capacitors for the neck and bridge position.  We like to wire this type of harnes with a .01uf capacitor in the neck position and a 0.02uf in the bridge position because we find that a less aggressive tone control on the neck pickup offers an improved balance of the tone controls.  If you prefer this then select Balanced Tone from the drop down menu below..
