Our Paper-in-Oil upgrade Kits have the base parts needed for you to upgrade the electronics in your guitar.  These kits include CTS “CGS” SupraPots as standard in the volume position to retain tone and note definition as you roll down the volume to give a more natural control (no need for a treble bleed circuit) and CTS "CG" for the tone controls.  We then sort through our potentiometers to create matched sets to give you an even response when rolling down your volume and tone controls.  The Kit includes a CG by Jupiter Paper-in-Oil capacitors to give a warmer woody tone.

What is Balanced Tone:

This kit as standard has 0.02uf capacitors for the neck and bridge position.  We like to wire this type of harnes with a .01uf capacitor in the neck position and a 0.02uf in the bridge position because we find that a less aggressive tone control on the neck pickup offers an improved balance of the tone controls.  If you prefer this then select Balanced Tone from the drop down menu below.
