Lindy Fralin are one of the premier makers of custom wound guitar pickups.  We asked Lindy to make us a set which really delivers those strong Broadcaster tones and to say he delivered would be an understatement.

This Custom Tele set has been made with Broadcaster tones in mind so the Bridge pickup is made with flat Alcino 3 magnets wound with 42 gauge polynylon wound to aprox 10K and finished with black waxed string wrapping.   The neck pickup is made with Alcino 5 magnets and wound to aprox 7.8K and sports a classic nickel plated nickel silver cover.

This set delivers fantastic broadcaster tones with a strong vocal bridge and thick and chewy neck tones.

Optional 3rd Wire

For Tele neck pickups we offer a 3rd Wire Option (cover ground) that allows you to run a set of Telecaster replacement pickups in series operation with a 4-way switch—a common mod for customers seeking more versatility than a 3-way switch provides. A 3rd wire allows your pickup to function properly in either series or parallel mode and won't affect the tone in normal operation.
